Couples sessions are for the lovers who don’t need a reason to celebrate their story. Every day together is special and foundational for your future together—and it makes me so happy that couples want to memorialize these precious moments.
There’s no need to get nervous about your couples session. A couple session is just another date night. Choose an activity where you two will feel comfortable and then bring me along to take some amazing candids. That’s right, I’m your third wheel—but you’ll rarely know I’m there. I’ll provide direction (and share my famous dad jokes) as needed to make sure we get the best shots. But nothing here is forced. Couple sessions are all about being real.

After years in the photography business, I’ve found what I enjoy capturing most: love. Each couple brings a unique, heartwarming story—and it’s such an honour to bring them to life through photography.
My goal for these couples sessions is to recreate these memories so vividly that they’ll transport you back in time. I’m focused on catching those in-between moments that truly reflect who you are together, as one. When you look at them, you’ll remember what you were laughing about. You’ll remember how good it felt when you held one another. To me, it’s all about stimulating these emotional memories.

My editing style goes hand-in-hand with my approach. I want you to relive all the warm and fuzzies you felt that day. When you receive your gallery, the rawness will still be there—but photos will be edited (colour correction, lighting, etc.) to tell a cohesive story.

It’s important to be comfortable during your session. Any sort of discomfort will show through in photos. If you need some advice, I’m here to point you in the right direction.
When in doubt, choose neutral or earthy colours—these always photograph fabulously. To avoid any distracting elements in your photographs, I also recommend avoiding bold patterns.

Home is an ideal location for couples wanting to add a whole new level of intimacy to their photos. It’s where you’re most comfortable after all. So shed some of those layers, get comfy, and let loose!
These locations totally vary for each couple. Perhaps it’s where you had your first date, a family cabin, or your favourite brewery. If you want to add sentimental value to your photos, this option is totally up your alley.

Excited to get started? Samesies! To get started, fill out the inquiry form below noting your preferred date and time—and I’ll get back to you in 24-48 hours. Unless you’re booking a flash and film session, I highly recommend shooting close to sunset (no matter the season). Better lighting means better photos!

Now for the fun stuff! Your couples session should feel like any other date—except I’m there to capture some amazing shots. Your job today is to have fun, laugh lots, and be real!

The fun isn’t over just yet. You’ll receive your beautiful online gallery in just 3-4 weeks. If you’d like to order prints, you can do so straight from the gallery! Easy peasy.

Once you’re booked in, I’ll send over my exclusive Couple’s Session Guide filled with tips to prepare for your session. I’ll also be in touch to discuss location, activities, props, and clothing, so you two can arrive feeling ready to go!
